You can update the privacy setting for ad-hoc <a href="http://help.viewpointcloud.com/en/articles/1653102-how-to-upload-a-new-record-attachment">attachments</a> in ViewPoint Cloud by navigating to the record type settings, clicking on the "Attachments" tab and then updating the "Make Ad-Hoc Attachments" setting.
