Social Security Number (SSN) and Employer ID Number (EIN) form fields allow you to safely collect these sensitive attributes in your forms.

SSN and EIN form fields are encrypted, and display only the last four digits on the record page, in reports, and on documents.

SSN and EIN fields never display in public search results.

Viewing and Editing SSN and EIN fields:

On records with SSN or EIN fields, only System and Record Type Administrators can view the entire number by clicking "Show" next to the form field.

Note: SSN and EIN fields may only be edited after clicking "Show".
