Why isn't there an expiration date on the document that I just added?

If you have just added a new document step to the timeline on a submitted record, please make sure that you turn on the expiration date feature and then select an expiration date. Please note that when manually adding a document to the timeline of a submitted record, the document does not have the same expiration date as in the workflow settings
